Explore the Karnak Temple Complex
- Meet the tour guide at the Karnak Temple Visitor Centre. Start the tour with the grand pylon (massive entrance gate) and the Avenue of Sphinxes. Admire the imposing sphinx statues that once lined the avenue, symbolizing the connection between Karnak and Luxor Temple. The temple was constructed over centuries by various pharaohs, including Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses II.
