Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

   • You will arrive at the airport, where the company’s representative will pick you up. You will be given a brief safari orientation (pre-departure meeting) of the safari; after that, you will be driven to the north past the equator to the northern frontier district.
   • Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve and check in to your campsite. You will enjoy your lunch at the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure. You will later set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
   • Return to the lodge before dark; dinner in the lodge. 

   Meals included: lunch and dinner, drinking water while on a safari game drive

2. Day 2 - Samburu National Reserve

   • After breakfast, we set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours, temperatures are low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere for the game and the viewer. Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards roam the vast grasslands for their next meal; it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players and the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring!
   • At 12:30 pm, you will enjoy lunch in the lodge or packed lunch.
   • You will later return to the campsite before dark, where you will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

   Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinking water while on safari/game drive

3. Day 3 - Samburu - Lake Nakuru National Park

   • After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in the reserve en route to the gate. Drive in a southerly direction to the equator for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify for the equator position, and for a small tip, you could be awarded an ‘equator Certificate’. 
   • After the brief stop, drive to Thompson Falls for a photo stop, then down into the Great Rift Valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves, and your driver-guide will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya.
   • You will enjoy your lunch en route, Arriving in the park in the evening.

4. Day 4 - Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Enjoy a full buffet breakfast in the camp. Check out after that and drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Masai tribe. The proud young Masai warrior-nomads, with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile game reserve is the Africa of your dreams, with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your camp; enjoy your lunch in the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive.
   • Afternoon game drives in reserve and return to the lodge before dark.

   Dinner and overnight at Giraffe Hills Mara camp, including bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

5. Day 5 - Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Today there will be a possibility to take an optional hot air balloon ride (costs excluded). Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You’ll ascend in the early morning when the winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colourful bag begins to bulge and take shape. 
   • After your incredible ride, it’s time to return to Earth for breakfast. You might wonder what all the ordinary people are doing on this perfect African morning! Before leaving, the pilot will present you with your balloon certificate, and then you’ll enjoy a game drive en route back to the camp. No ride of the imagination can match this airborne experience!
   • If you don't opt for the balloon ride, you will enjoy a full day of uninterrupted game drive.

   Overnight at Giraffe Hills, Mara camp, including bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

6. Day 6 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha

   • Full buffet breakfast in the camp, and then check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha, where you will have your lunch en route. 
   • After lunch in Mt Long’onot Transit Hotel, you will drive to Hells' Gate National Park, where you will see most of the activities formed due to volcanic activities like hot, cold, and warm springs.
   • Arrive in the camp in the evening.

   Dinner and overnight at Naivasha West Beach Camp; Included: Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

7. Day 7: Crescent Island

   • Located along Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, Crescent Island Sanctuary is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is often called Naivasha's “best-kept secret”. It is private, secure and patrolled by guides who can accompany anyone who wishes for a guided walk.
   • Surrounded by water, Crescent Island is a peninsula accessible by boat from the east or west. One can also access it under two hours from Nairobi on a tarmac road. The sanctuary’s shores host abundant birdlife, including huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park. This brings many film companies here. 

   Dinner and overnight at Naivasha West Beach Camp; Included: Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

8. Day 8 - Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

   • You will take your early morning breakfast; then you will be driven to the southern part of Kenya called Amboseli, where you will pass the border of Kenya and Tanzania (note: please, when you are passing through Amboseli National Park, the visa is not needed because the park is on the side of Kenya). You will arrive in the park in the late evening and enjoy the game drive en route to your campsite. 

   Overnight and dinner at the Sentrim Amboseli Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner).

9. Day 9 - Amboseli National Park

   • Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is termed an animal's paradise. 
   • Visit Masai village and learn about its rich culture at an extra cost. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow-capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. 

   Overnight and dinner at the Sentrim Amboseli Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner).

10. Day 10 - Amboseli - Nairobi

    • You will go for your morning breakfast, then the game drives en route when leaving the national park.
    • You will arrive in Nairobi late at lunchtime and go for your lunch. After that, you will be driven to the airport for your next destination or hotel.
