Itinerary

1. Day 1: Rhythms and Magic: Cartagena Tour and Afro-Caribbean Drum Workshop

   • To begin our tour, we will delve into the fascinating history of Cartagena with a complete tour of the city. We will discover the monuments and colonial architecture that have made Cartagena a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
   • In addition, we will have the opportunity to participate in an Afro-Caribbean drum workshop, where we will learn to play traditional instruments and experience the local culture up close.

2. Day 2: Cartagena a tu Aire: Free day to explore the city.

   • This day will be free for you to explore the city at your own pace, visit the museums, enjoy the beach or simply relax and absorb the atmosphere of the city. Our team will be available to provide you with recommendations and suggestions so that you can make the most of your time in Cartagena.

3. Day 3: Rosario Islands: Private boat trip through a tropical paradise.

   • On Wednesday, you will embark on a private boat tour and explore the impressive Rosario Islands. 
   • Here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views, white sand beaches and the crystal clear Caribbean sea. 
   • You will also be able to snorkel and explore the marine life of this beautiful region.

4. Day 4: Flavours and Culture: Getsemaní walking tour, Bazurto Market, fruit tasting and typical lunch, and rum and chocolate tasting

   • On this day, we will take a walking tour of Getsemaní, the most vibrant and mural-filled neighbourhood in Cartagena. 
   • We will discover the bustling market of Bazurto, where you can try delicious fruits and experience the local culture. 
   • We will enjoy a typical lunch and taste local rum and chocolate. 
   • We will also visit historical monuments and places while learning about the rich history of Cartagena.

5. Day 5: Caribbean Adventures: Mud Volcano, Pink Sea of Galerazamba, Salsa Class and Night Club

   • On this day, we will venture to the mud volcano and the Pink Sea of Galerazamba, where you will relax and experience its therapeutic benefits. You will learn to dance salsa with an exciting class, and in the evening, we will join in the fun at a salsa nightclub where we will enjoy music and dancing.

6. Day 6: Discover History: San Basilio de Palenque and White Night

   • On Saturday, we will explore the Afro-descendant community of San Basilio de Palenque. You will meet local people and learn more about their culture and traditions. In the evening, we will celebrate "White Night", an exciting night of music and dance.

7. Day 7: Farewell to Cartagena: Transfer to the airport

   • To conclude our exciting tour, we will transfer you to the airport so you can continue your adventures in Colombia. Don't miss your chance to experience Cartagena's rich history, culture, and beauty on this 7-day tour!
