Day 01

Papan Town Heritage Walk and Raja Bilah Palace

• Early pickup at 8:30 am from Ipoh city or a location no more than 20 km away.
• The first stop is the Guan Yin Temple, believed to have been constructed in 1947. Stop at the small restaurant run by an old couple. Papan Town is not entirely deserted, as a small number of elderly townsfolk still live in the area and its surrounding village.
• The walking tour starts here. Proceed to Raja Bilah Palace and wander around the old buildings.
• Then, walk through the small lanes and discover a little of the town's history. You can see how the trees and roots have conquered the walls and bricks.
• After a long walk, rest and relax at the top of the mountain's recreation park before returning to your hotel.
