Lasithi Plateau, Zeus Cave, Traditional Villages and Olive Oil Factory - Small Group
- The tour starts picking you up from your accommodation, hotel/port.
- On the way to Lasithi Plateau, we will have the first stop for a welcome coffee and then visit Aposelemi Dam for a while. The driver guide will give you information about the dam and the drowned Sfedili village, and you will have time to take some photos.
- At the entrance of Lasithi Plateau, Lasithi pass, we will stop to visit old windmills, admire the breathtaking view, and take amazing photos that your friends will be jealous of.
- While we are driving through the Lasithi Plateau to get to Zeus Cave, you will enjoy the beauty of villages and nature.
- You will visit an impressive and historical cave called Zeus Cave. According to mythology, the father of the ancient Greek Gods, Zeus, was born here. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to get to Zeus Cave.
- On returning to your accommodation, we will stop in the traditional taverna to enjoy Cretan lunch.
- After lunch, we will continue our tour by visiting Krasi village. Our last stop is visiting an olive oil factory in Malia, where you will have the opportunity to learn about how local people have produced olive oil since thousands of years ago and, of course, will taste different kinds of extra virgin olive oil in the region.
