Begin with a scenic drive along the Nile River to the city of Edfu, where we will visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the god Horus and built in the Ptolemaic era. Explore the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the God Sobek and the God Haroeris and known for its unique double design, with two entrances and two courts.

Edfu and Kom Ombo Temple
- Your expert tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Luxor lounge and accompany you on a full-day tour to Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples.
- Start with 2 hour drive along the Nile River to Edfu city, where you will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. Edfu Temple was constructed between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic era and extended between 332 – 30 BC.
- Continue driving for almost 1h 30 mins to Kom Ombo, located about 70 km south of Edfu, and visit the unusual double Temple built for Haroeris, the Falcon God and Sobek, the crocodile god. Komombo temple was built during the Greco-Roman era in Egypt.
- Enjoy the fantastic scene of the ancient Egyptian Calendar, the medical instruments and more.
- Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
