Description
Begin by exploring the rich history and culture of Lome, the capital city of Togo and enjoy a scenic drive through Togo’s countryside, arrive at Kara National Park, known for its diverse array of wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Hike through the lush forests and savannas, keeping an eye out for elephants, baboons, and other exotic animals.
Itinerary

Day 1: Airport - Hotel
- Pick up from the hotel, visit the independence square and monument, the national museum (where you will see historical relics that tell the story of our culture), and Lomé palace (a former German fort that later became a palace) Presidential residence).
- Head to the open market of Asigame (one of the largest in w/Africa), where you will visit the artesian market, home to all sorts of artifacts.
- The Nana Benz local fabric lane in the market, a drive-by to have a view at the Lomé beach and back to the hotel.

Day 2: Agbodrafo
- Go on a 30-minute drive to Agbodrafo, the wood home/ Slave house (a house built after the abolition of slavery for clandestine operations on the slave trade).
- Head to Togo ville, crossing over from the mainland via boat (20mins boat cruise), and visit one of the oldest cathedrals in Togo, togoville unique trade-by-barter market and various voodoo shrines. The fetish market (a traditional pharmacy) is home to various animals and voodoo dolls/artefacts used to prepare potions.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Kara National Park
- Start a 5-hour trip to Kara, drive through the city of Kara and visit the Kara national park.
Return to the hotel/lodge.
