Description
Walk through the fascinating Arles' City Centre, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage in 1981. Arles may not be the biggest Provençal city, but one of the richest. It is known mainly for its roman arena (a miniature Coliseum or Arénes), theatre, bath and Romanesque Saint Trophime Church. Arles is so internationally known nowadays, thanks to the impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. Wandering through the streets, you will better understand the light that inspired him. In Arles, he painted the "Yellow House" (la Maison jaune), le Café la nuit, Starry night "La nuit étoilée" and more.
