Herping tour near Ho Chi Minh - Dinh Mountain
Herping is the act of searching for amphibians or reptiles. Herping tour is an initiative striving to preserve biodiversity through tourism, photography, and education; to replace fear with a fascination for amphibians or reptiles.
- The trip starts in the early afternoon (1 PM). First of all, it depends on the specific species you would like to see. We will adapt the trip to increase our chances. The terrain we search for is not too physically demanding.
- We visit different habitats and our favourite hotspots. And there we will search for herps on foot. Usually not long hikes. It tends to be more successful to intensively search several spots rather than hiking long distances on a single long trail.
- There is just some local restaurant on this Mountain so it's better to take some snack to belong with you, we'll prepare dinner for you.
- After spending all our time herping, we'll go back to Ho Chi Minh City at midnight.
