Itinerary
-
Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- We can leave Arusha in the morning and travel to Tarangire National Park, where you can admire the large termite mounds and historic baobab bushes. The picturesque landscape and numerous chicken lives help develop the tranquil atmosphere of Tarangire country park. The special elephant population is an utterly wonderful sight. African elephants are the largest land mammals, and males can weigh up to seven tons. The natural world of Tarangire includes lion, giraffe, warthog, ostrich, impala, cheetah, mongoose, buffalo and baboon.
- While your recovery party takes a break, we can take you to Lake Manyara, where you can have dinner and spend the night.
-
Day 2 - Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
- We drive from Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park shortly after a delicious breakfast.
- We can take the scenic course into the Serengeti, allowing us to travel close to the Ngorongoro Crater.
- There is a chance to spot the game. The endless golden savannah with patches of shadow created through vegetation and the natural world makes it easy to see why the Serengeti is one of the seven natural wonders of Africa.
- We can bypass it so you can enjoy your picnic lunch on a kopje (a small hill in a normally flat area).
- We continue deep into the Serengeti to enjoy a leisurely, athletic walk. Spend the night in the Serengeti.
-
Day 3 - Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
- We can start our day with an early morning game drive in the important Serengeti. The savannah is a living landscape, and the air is filled with the melodies of birds as the regenerated daylight begins to illuminate the entire landscape.
- Your guide looks at the tracks on the ground to hunt down predators.
- We can travel to Ngorongoro Crater.
- Dinner and overnight stay can be provided.
-
Day 4 - Ngorongoro to Arusha
- After early morning breakfast, we can quickly go to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is an excellent time to spot animals.
- On this day, we can enjoy a restful power through the crater and stop for a picnic at a small lake in the park.
- The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so visitors will surely enjoy it. Because of the animal in the “oasis” created in the crater, there will be an excellent opportunity to recognize each “Big 5” member. The institution is home to some of Africa's mightiest animals: the fierce lion, the massive elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo.
- Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly an awe-inspiring site. Did you know that it was formed more than two million years ago? A massive volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano but leaving a magnificently intact crater known as the caldera.
- Expect to see playful zebras, lumbering hippos, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas in the remarkable crater. Plus, flocks of graceful flamingos are lining Soda Lake while hungry hawks and vultures soar through the sky, looking for their next meal of discarded carcasses. Beautiful storks, ibis and cranes are popular waterfowl in the crater, a sight not to be missed.
- After a lovely afternoon of wildlife viewing, we will finally begin our adventure back to Arusha.
