Itinerary

1. Day 1

   • Pick up at Campo Grande International Airport (CGR) and a 3.5-hour drive to the Lodge in the city of Aquidauana-MS, followed by Check-in.
   • Afternoon Tour: The tour program is divided into morning and afternoon tours and is set by the lodge’s team according to the best possibilities for each season. For example, it could be a hike to spot the wildlife and the farm culture.
   • Back at the lodge, it is time to relax by enjoying the swimming pool or a drink at the bar, reading while hanging comfortably in a hammock on the porch or taking a nap before dinner.

   Dinner is served with typical Pantanal recipes and homemade desserts.

2. Day 2

   • Breakfast among the Birds symphony with dairy products direct from the farm.
   • Morning Tour as scheduled by the lodge. Example: Horseback rides by the fields where the farmers raise the cattle. The horse is part of the cowboy's life in Pantanal; its relation is based on survival in this region where half the year has a lot of pasture under water. It is nice to spot the wild animals because they are used to horses, which enables the approach.
   • Back to the lodge and enjoy the time until lunch.
   • Lunch is served with a variety of dishes and desserts.
   • Time to recover energy and protect from the heat in a tree shade or inside the room.
   • Afternoon snack by the restaurant.
   • Afternoon tour: Example: Motor boat ride by Aquidauana River. A good way to spot the Brazilian Tapir, otters, caimans and many birds.
   • Back to the lodge and time free until Dinner.

   Dinner.

3. Day 3

   • Optional walking tour by sun rising, good chances to spot the giant anteater seeking food.
   • Breakfast among the Birds symphony with dairy products direct from the farm.
   • Morning Tour as scheduled by the lodge. Example: Kayaking in the bays early in the morning to listen to all the sounds of dawn and birdwatching.
   • Back to the lodge and enjoy the time until lunch.
   • Lunch is served with a variety of dishes and desserts.
   • Time to recover energy and protect from the heat in a tree shade or inside the room.
   • Afternoon snack by the restaurant.
   • Afternoon tour: Example: Photo safari in a 4WD truck to register the best landscapes. Using the farm's inner roads is an opportunity to spot wildlife and have a good view of the Pantanal flat area hugeness.
   • Back to the lodge and time free until Dinner.

   Dinner.

4. Day 4

   • Breakfast among the Birds symphony with dairy products direct from the farm.
   • Morning Tour as scheduled by the lodge. Example: Piranha fishing at the bay is a nice opportunity to know their beautiful smile and the reaction of the caimans around. Listen to the fisher stories of the local guide.
   • Back to the lodge and enjoy the time until lunch.
   • Lunch is served with a variety of dishes and desserts.
   • Time to recover energy and protect from the heat in a tree shade or inside the room.
   • Afternoon snack by the restaurant.
   • Afternoon tour: Example: Hiking to observe close Capibaras, the Giant Anteater or Greater Rheas.
   • Back to the lodge and time free until Dinner.

   Dinner

   On one of the nights during the stay, the Night Safari happens after dinner. With the help of experienced local guides and a 4WD truck, this tour is the chance to spot night wildlife and its behaviour. On a clear night sky, it's possible to observe a lot of constellations and the Milky Way.

5. Day 5

   • Optional walking tour or Kayaking tour by the sun rising.
   • Last breakfast at the farm
   • Morning Tour as scheduled by the lodge.
   • Back to the lodge and enjoy the time until lunch.
   • Check out.
   • Lunch.
   • It's time to drive back to Campo Grande.
   • Drop off at the Campo Grande International Airport.
