Day 1: Addis Ababa
Discover Addis Ababa
Founded in 1886 by Menelik II, Addis Ababa sits at 2,438m, making it the third-highest capital in the world. With a pleasant year-round climate averaging 25°C, the city offers a perfect setting for exploration.
Our tour begins at the National Museum, home to Ethiopia’s historic treasures, including the 3.5-million-year-old remains of ‘Lucy.’ Next, we visit the Ethnographic Museum, offering insights into Ethiopia’s diverse cultures, followed by the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie.

Day 2: Fly To Lalibela And Visit Rock Cut Churches
Explore Lalibela’s Rock-Hewn Churches
A short flight takes us to Lalibela, the ‘New Jerusalem,’ built 800 years ago by King Lalibela. In the afternoon, we visit the first cluster of 11 rock-hewn churches, renowned for their intricate carvings and remarkable craftsmanship. The highlight is Bet Giorgis, a stunning Greek cross-shaped church, considered one of the world’s architectural wonders.

Day 3: Explore Lalibela
Lalibela & Yimrhane Kristos
We visit Yimrhane Kristos, a stunning Axumite wood and stone church, famed for its intricate ceiling and decorations. Returning to Lalibela, we explore the second cluster of rock-hewn churches, including Bete Gabriel-Rafael, Merkorous, Emanuel, and Abba Libanos. Bete Emanuel, with its Axumite-style carvings, is the highlight. End the day soaking in the charm of this historic town. Overnight Top twelve Hotel.

Day 4: Fly Back To Addis Ababa
- This morning we fly back to Addis. The afternoon is free for the last minutes of shopping and exploring of the city. In the evening we will have a fare well dinner in one of the Ethiopian restaurants for traditional dinner and live stage dances from the different ethnic groups. Then transfer to the airport for your departure to Home or for your next destination. Tour End!
