Embark on a 2-day wildlife adventure to Woliso, featuring hiking and horseback riding at Wonchi Lake, exploring an island monastery and hot springs, and discovering Menagesha National Forest's diverse wildlife and endemic bird species.

Itinerary

Day 1: Wonchi Lake
- Drive from Addis via Woliso to Wonchi Lake.
- Early morning drive to Lake Wonchi.
- Enjoy Hiking and horseback.
- Boat on the lake to visit the island monastery of Cherkos and the hot springs.
- Picnic lunch on the shore of the Lake. Later drive back in Addis Ababa. Overnight Damat Hotel.
Day 2: Menagesha Forest
- Drive to the Menagesha National Forest to hike
- Enjoy watching the wildlife, such as the colobus monkey and endemic Menelik’s bushbuck
- Birdwatch the endemic Ethiopian oriole and Abyssinian woodpecker
- Picnic lunch in the lush green forest
Dinner and overnight in Addis or ready for your departure.
