Itinerary

1. Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Arusha N. Park (Game Drive) – Arusha

   • After breakfast, you'll depart from your Arusha or Moshi accommodations and drive to the park.
   • After entering the park, you will embark on a game drive. Your drive will pass you past park landmarks such as the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater, sometimes known as 'Little Ngorongoro'. Our safari vehicle will go under the Fig tree (Ficus thonningii), whose roots have formed an arch large enough for a safari car (elephant size) to pass underneath. You may stop, get out of the car and take pictures.
   • During lunch, you will stop at a picnic site where you will have your lunch and proceed with the game drive. 
   • At around 4:00 pm, you will leave the National Park for Arusha, where you will spend the night.

   Overnight stay: Arusha Town

2. Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (Game Drive)

   • We will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning.
   • Once we arrive in Tarangire, we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons.
   • After viewing the wildlife, we will continue our journey to our next highlight, the Ngorongoro Crater. 

   Dinner and overnight

3. Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (Game Drive) – Arusha

   • We will have an early start to the day to ensure we complete the itinerary, including a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Due to its elevated walls, animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater. This means you can spot every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some other wildlife you can expect to see include zebras, hippos, wildebeest and hyenas. The crater also features an extensive bird population, including geese, storks, and vultures.
   • Tarangire is known for the plains of the savannah and its immense elephant herds. At the same time, Ngorongoro is the infamous big five marvel at the colossal landscape of the crater and the notably different coloured Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater at Arusha National Park. 
   • Your trip will end in the late afternoon, and we will proceed to Arusha.
