Description
Sign up for an adventurous tour specially designed for international tourists, where you will hike the most famous route in South Africa to Tugela Falls. Hike to the top of the Sentinel to see amazing views of the Drakensberg Amphitheater, Sentinel peak and Mount Aux. Climb the chain ladders or a different route to reach the source of the tallest waterfall, Tugela Falls, while spotting bearded vultures o the way.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Drakensberg
- 8:00- Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria.
- 9:00 - Transfer down to the Drakensberg.
- 14:00 - Arrive at your accommodation at Witsieshoek Hotel.
- 15:00 - Go for a short hike to Gulley.
- 19:00 - Have your dinner.

Day 2: Hike Sentinel Peak
- 7:00- Have an early breakfast.
- 8:00- Board the shuttle to Sentinel car park and start the hike up the mountain upon reaching.
- 9:00 - 12:00- Hike up the mountain and Sentinel peak to see the source of the Tugela falls. (Part of the hike will also include climbing the chain ladders.)
- 14:00- Enjoy lunch at the falls and swim in the river. There will be lots of photographic opportunities.
- 15:00- Descend to the Sentinel car park. Look out for the bearded vultures.
- 16:00- Drive back to Johannesburg.
