Description

The tour would be organised within the Dutch province of North Holland. We shall visit all the most interesting and biggest cities and other highlights in this area. Endless green fields spread allround, and blue-eyed lakes will greet and welcome you on every step you make. Visit the citadel, famous middle-aged military architecture invention, military museum and monument of the philosopher, pedagogue and theologian, the father of modern education.

Itinerary

Daily North Holland Combined Bus/Walking Tour
- Meet your tour guide in Amsterdam and start your excursion to:
  - Naarden (Citadel, Big Church and Jan Amos Comenius monument and mausoleum)
  - Geithoorn (Facultative canal drive)
  - Houtribdijk Dam (Dam dividing lakes Markermeer and IJsselmer)
  - Volendam (Fishermen's port, cheese museum and workshop)
  - Zaanse Schans (Open-air windmills museum, clogs and cheese)
  - Optional: Keukenhof (during the 3rd week of March until the 3rd week of May)

Know Before You Go

Traffic jams ("file", dutch pronounce) happen very often on the Dutch highways, and there are no rules on when could happen. For that reason, transportation from one place to another could be affected and delayed for an unplanned certain time.

Tour would take at least 8 hours but if necessary even longer. The tour guide doesn't look at his watch so often.

The departure point could be any place listed in the itinerary section but also could be adjusted and changed depending on the current situation and customer wishes. (e.g. from Amsterdam or Amsterdam airport Schiphol.

Transport will be carried out with a modern minivan (up to 6 persons), chauffeured service.

Bigger groups (more than 6 persons) are also welcome. In that case please contact me for the quote for a larger vehicle (bus)
