Description

The tour would be organized within the Dutch province of South Holland. We shall visit all the most interesting and biggest cities and other highlights in this area. Learn about the 19 time-guardians and still persisting "water management stewards" and the story about the cat who saved one human life. See the biggest European fairy-tale garden with more than 7 million planted tulips (more than 800 different kinds) and other flowers.

Itinerary

Daily South Holland combined bus/walking tour
- Meet your tour guide in Amsterdam or any other place in province South-Holland listed in the itinerary and visit:
  - Kinderdijk (19 windmill date from the first half of 18th century; optional 1/2 hour boat tour )
  - Rotterdam (Erasmus bridge and New Maze; Open air Maritime museum; Schieland house, former city hall; Big church/St. Lawrence church; Market Hall ("Horseschoe"); Cube houses and Blaak Tower ("The Pencil"); Old Port; "White House"
  - Delft (New Church; Old City Hall; Vermeer Centrum Delft; Old Church alias Dutch "Pisa's leaning tower"; Prinsenhof; "The Girl's House" (Meisjeshuis); Anton van Leevenhoek Monument; Community House (Delfland); Wapen van Savoyen House; Royal Delft Museum and Workshop
  - The Hague (Den Haag) ( Binnenhof and Ridderzaal; Dutch Parliament; Gavenport Prison; Johan de Wit Monument; Noordeinde Palace (Royal Family's Residence): Madurodam miniatures; The Peace Palace; Scheveningen beach;

Know Before You Go

Traffic jams ("file", dutch pronounce) happen very often on the Dutch highways, and there are no rules on when could happen. For that reason, transportation from one place to another could be affected and delayed for an unplanned certain time.

Tour would take at least 8 hours but if necessary even longer. The tour guide doesn't look at his watch so often.

The departure point could be any place listed in the itinerary section but also could be adjusted and changed depending on the current situation and customer wishes. (e.g. from Amsterdam or Amsterdam airport Schiphol)

Transport will be performed with a modern minivan (up to 6 persons), chauffeured service.

Bigger groups (more than 6 persons) are also welcome. In that case please contact me for the quote for a larger vehicle (bus)
