Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival in Wilpattu
- Welcome on arrival at the airport or at the hotel lobby in Colombo or Negombo.
- Check in to Hotel Wild Wadi at Eluwankulama near Wilpattu and have lunch.
- Afterwards, go for a leisure walk in the village up to the river nearby.
- BBQ Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 2- Wilpattu National Park
- Get on to the jeep and leave for a full-day Jeep safari.
- Return to the hotel.
- Dinner & overnight at the Hotel Wild Wadi.
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Tea/Coffee snacks in the picnic pack.
Day 3- Eluwankulama
- Have breakfast at the hotel, spend some time at leisure and go for a morning walk in the village.
- Eat lunch at the hotel and then, go for an Amazing Boat Safari on the river.
- Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Wild Wadi.
Day 4- Departure
- After breakfast at the hotel, spend some time at leisure.
- Depart to the airport to board your return flight.

Wilpattu National park covers an area of 1,317 sq kilometers nearly around 508 sq miles, the elevational landscape spreading from 0 to 152 meters into the land from the western coast sea border of the park. Its' name said to have driven from its' natural sand rimmed water basins (Willus) spread over about 106 in total, where some are huge as lakes. The park is well-known its' leopard density and sloth bear specifically. Rich with divers vegetation including hard tall endemic species, and home to 31 species of mammals including elephants. The park is very large home for Mugger Crocodile and other reptiles including snake species, also a paradise for migrant waders, stork and breeding resident birds including some endemic species. The park is under control of the wild life department, updated to National park on 25th December 1938 until then was a wildlife sanctuary since 1905.
