Garni-Geghard Excursion
- 9:00- The guide will pick you up from the Marriott Hotel, Yerevan and move to Getargel village, Dzagavank.
- 9:30- Reach Dzagavank (Getargel S. Nshan Monastery). It is located 2 km southeast of Arinj village, Kotayk region, on the hillside. Founded in the early Middle Ages, it is a three-altar, small cross-domed structure.
- 10:10- Move to Voghjaberd, Charents Arch. The arch is dedicated to the genius Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, who loved to walk in this place and admire the beauty of Mount Ararat.
- 10:40- Next, go to the Pagan temple of Garni.
- 12:30- Have your lunch at your choice of restaurant or guest house.
- 14:30- Then, head to Garni Gorge, admire the Symphony of Stones, take photos, and enjoy the beautiful nature.
- 15:30- Further, proceed to Geghard Monastery, a medieval monastery partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.
- 16:00- Arrive at Geghard Monastery.
- 18:00- Later, return to Yerevan to conclude the tour.
