Kilimanjaro Day Hike- A Sneak Peak Climb
- Meet your tour guide and leave Moshi early to depart for Marangu Gate. The drive will take approximately 1 hour.
- Begin your Kilimanjaro Day Hike after gate registration. Walking along a narrow trail through the rainforest of Kilimanjaro up to Mandara Hut, you will meet mountain climbers descending from the top. At Mandara Hut, you will have your lunch and the possibility to take a short walk to the Maundi Crater. The views to the East over Taveta and the Northwest of Mawenzi Peak are stunning on a clear day, making the short hike well worth the effort.
- Enjoy taking photos once arriving at Maundi Crater before descending to the Marangu Gate. Our vehicles will wait at Marangu Gate to take you back to Moshi.
