River Gambia Sailing Tour
- Pick up from your hotel at 7 am and drive to Lamin Lodge, a beautiful bar and restaurant built with poles on the river Gambia, where you might catch the sights and sounds of local women oyster collectors and fishers.
- On our arrival, a guided tour will be conducted to the local oyster factory to see how the locals collect oysters for their daily livelihood.
- Afterwards, we will board our wooden canoe boat for two hours ride along the mangroves. If lucky, you will see monkeys and different species of birds.
- A tunnel boat ride to the big silk-cotton tree house will give you an opportunity to see Daranka women oyster collectors, rice fields and gardens.
