Itinerary

1. Day 1: Drive to Kibale forest National Park visit volcanoes caves

   • Our safari guide will pick you up after an early morning breakfast for your 3-day tour.
   • Leave Kampala City and drive towards Fort portal.
   • You will continue to Nyakasura for the cave and crater hike.
   • You will have a rewarding break at the top of one of the hills where you will have lunch.
   • After this activity, drive towards Kibale Forest National Park. 
   • You will arrive early evening in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight. 

   Accommodation: Kibale forest camp (Mid-range) 

2. Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Community walk

   • You will have a full breakfast and then drive to the briefing or starting point.
   • Upon arrival, you will be briefed and grouped in numbers of 8 people, but sometimes you can exclusively go alone on rare occasions.
   • Once you have located the chimpanzees, you will spend a valuable time of 1 hour and then transfer to the picking point where you will be driven to your hotel for lunch.
   • After lunch, you will drive to Bigodi wetland, a community wetland tour for birding, and a community and primate walk.
   • Return later to your hotel in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight. 

   Journey time: 5-7 Hours 

   Accommodation: Kibale forest camp (Mid-range) 

3. Day 3: Drive back to Kampala

   • Have breakfast at leisure. Then drive back to Kampala for souvenir shopping and drop off at your preferred location. 

   Journey time: 5-6 Hours (Depending on activities involved, it can be less or more)
