Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Tour
- Meet the tour representative and drive to Olpopongi in the West Kilimanjaro region in the early morning. Olpopongi is located 74 kilometres from Moshi.
- Travel for two hours to the outback of West Kilimanjaro. Depending on the season, you can see zebras and elephants. On special days you'll have incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
- Head for Lunch, where the local Maasai welcome us with song and dance.
- Stroll around the village. The guides will later grasp you to the cherished petite museum, where you'll ascertain the history, social organisation and tools of the Maasai people. A traditional Tanzanian lunch will give you enough energy for an exciting afternoon between our lessons. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Moshi.
