Description

Sign up for an incredible sightseeing and cooking tour to the coastal city of Kotor to explore its well-known tourist attractions. Stroll through the ancient Armoury Square, Flour Square and Cat Square, along with paying a respectful visit to the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Also, sip some local wines or brandy and attend cookery classes to learn to cook some regional food dishes of Kotor.

Itinerary

Kotor City Tour & Cooking Class
- Connect with your tour guide at the meeting point to transfer from your place/city of accommodation to Kotor.
- Arrive at Kotor and visit Armoury Square with clock tower (4 centuries old), the main town square.
- Discover Flour Square (the old trading square where you will find Buca and Pima Palaces).
- Enjoy the view in front of the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, the biggest attraction.
- Walk to the orthodox churches square (St. Luke was built-in 1195, and St. Nicholas was built-in 1540).
- Stroll through Cat Squares and others.
- Then, go to a local family home.
- Join Susan in her family home kitchen in Kotor for approx. Three hours cookery course with final lunch.
- Taste local wine, rakija brandy or homemade juice. Feel like a part of the family in the company of a lovely, outgoing and humorous host who will show you how to prepare food in authentic and traditional ways.
- Put on your apron and take a chance to prepare 1 or 2 dishes characteristic for the area of Bay of Kotor and have lunch made of starter, main course and dessert. Keep in mind that, as you are at Adriatic (Mediterranean) coast, most of the traditional food and specialities are based on fish and seafood.
- Learn some local recipes that you can later prepare for your family and friends.
- Afterwards, it’s time for sitting together to talk and enjoy a tasty meal.
- Return to the place/city of your accommodation.
