Description
Embark on an unforgettable and challenging 18-Day trek to the three high passes of Mount Everest, including Renjo La, Cho La and Kongma La from Kathmandu. Hike through suspension bridges and villages, visit several monasteries and spot snow leopards in Sagarmatha National Park. Also, catch a glimpse of Mount Everest as you trek through Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival
- Get picked up and assisted by our guide to the hotel. You will be briefed with information and gear for the trek once you have settled.

Day 2: Pre-trip meeting and sightseeing
- After breakfast, we will brief you on our adventure and then take you on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
You can spend the rest of the day preparing for your upcoming trek.

Day 3: Fly from Lukla Airport
- Catch a flight to Lukla early in the morning from the Kathmandu domestic airport.
- Enjoy the incredible mountain views during the short flight.
- Begin on the trek after landing.
- Pass through the picturesque Sherpa villages and their fields of crops.
- See many monuments toward Tibet to see a spectacular view of Kusum Kanguru as we arrive in Phakding.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar
- Head to Namche Bazaar after breakfast.
- The path leads us across several suspension bridges, while enjoying spectacular views of Thamserku.
- Reach Monjo and officially enter Sagarmatha National Park following the course of Dudh Koshi river bank.
- Continue along the river bank and eventually ciimb in altitude. Cross the highest suspension bridge of the Everest region and again trek higher. We catch our first peek of Mt. Everest and continue to Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar
- Today is our acclimatization day. We must take time to let our bodies adjust to the difference in altitude, as the air is thinner here.
- Take a short day hike up to Sagarmatha National Park, where you can spot Snow leopards, Red pandas, Himalayan Tahr, antelopes and other wildlife as well. We can see a perfect view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, AmaDablam, and many more Himalayan peaks from the National Park.
- Explore Namche Bazaar, a major trade center in the Khumbu region, densely populated by Sherpa people and trekkers who have finished preparing for the various Everest region treks. There is much to explore in the streets of Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche Monastery
- Head out on today’s journey after breakfast.
- Soon after departing, we pass the museum again and enjoy the views.
- Reach a junction, where we hike up the steep trail continuing the Everest Base Camp path. The rhododendron and pine forests surrounding us are beautiful. After a couple more hours, we
- Arrive at Tengboche. The sunset behind Mt. Everest from this little village is something you will never forget.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche
- Move above the tree line, and feel like we are indeed in the mountains. Pass through diverse forests and enjoy the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
- Reach Pangboche after crossing Imja river. Walk through the Imja Valley before finally ascending to Dingboche.

Day 8: Day trip to Chhukung valley
- Head up to Chhukung valley after breakfast. It is perfectly nestled in the Himalayas, surrounded by snowy mountains. As we climb, the village in the distance looks beautiful, and we also have an excellent view of several of the world’s highest peaks.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche via Kongma-la Pass
- The distance from Dingboche to Lobuche is short, but the walk takes slightly longer at a high altitude.
- Ascend the Kongma La Pass and get a jaw-dropping panorama of white peaks and turquoise alpine lake below us. It’s a strenuous day, but well worth it. The sunset view of Mt. Nuptse from Lobuche in the evening is marvellous.

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep
- Wake up a little earlier to get the best views from Everest Base Camp. The trail to Gorakshep is primarily uphill and rocky.
- Stop at Gorakshep to drop our bags off after lunch.
- Head to Everest Base Camp with our day packs. The trail is steep and rocky. Everest Base Camp is located on the Khumbu Glacier, with views of Khumbu Icefall, Mt. Khumbutse and Pumori, though views of Mt. Everest are saved for the following day.
- Take some photos and celebrate.
- Head back down to Gorakshep.

Day 11: Kalapatthar - Zongla
- Leave early morning to hike Kala Patthar for an unforgettable day ahead.
- The breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, AmaDablam, and many others are right before our eyes.
- Take some photos at Kala Patthar and come back to Gorakshep to have an excellent big breakfast.
- Descend to Zongla.

Day 12: Trek to Thangna via Cho-La Pass
- Walk on the flagstone path after breakfast, passing through the desolate valley.
- Ascend on the steep path to Cho-La Pass on the icy way of the Cho La Glacier. After we reach Cho-La Pass, we descend on another side through the stony trail until we reach Phedi.
- Head down to Thangna, a small village with few lodges and tea shops from Phedi.

Day 13: Trek to Gokyo - Gokyo Ri
- Walk along the glacial route until we reach first Gokyo lake. The trek from here is relatively easy, a flat path following Dudh Koshi River up to Gokyo village, which is in a windy valley near the third lake.
- Make way to Gokyo Ri, where we get a better view of the turquoise lakes and many famous peaks.

Day 14: Trek to Lungden via Renjo-La Pass
- Ascend to Renjo-La Pass with the crew on a rocky and snow-covered trail. It is steep uphill up to Renjo-La, from where we can see a stunning Himalayan panorama that includes Mt. Everest and the Gokyo valley.
- Descend for a few hours to Lungden village after spending some free time. It is a small settlement with few basic tea houses.

Day 15: Trek to Namche
- The trail from Lungden to Namche is mostly downhill.
- Walkthrough Marulung village before reaching Thame, where there is a monastery that is several hundred years old.
- Stop by the beautiful Sherpa village for a tea or lunch break, Thame.
- Take in some good views of the Rolwaling Himalayan peaks. Continuing our trek further, we will reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla
- Head down to Lukla after breakfast.
- Enjoy the last views of Mt. Everest, already looking forward to seeing it again.
- Cross six suspension bridges and pass several Sherpa villages before arriving in Lukla. After crossing the highest of the bridges, walk for another 3 hours to Phakding and stop for lunch.
- Arrive in Lukla after about 2.5 hours of walking Phakding and enjoy the last night in the Himalayas.

Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
- Walk to Tenzing Hillary airport after having breakfast to fly back to Kathmandu in the morning.
- Enjoy the scenery during the flight.
- Have a celebratory dinner in Kathmandu in the evening or however you wish to spend your free time. Overnight in a hotel.

- Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport, where your tour ends.
