Itinerary
-
Antizana National Park
- Meet your tour guide and head to the Antisana National Park, a place where we will see nature at its best. Following the path inside the park, we will arrive at the flat area to observe birds such as Cara Cara Curiquingue. I cannot assure that we will see condors, but it is the habitat of these giant vultures.
- See the Artisana Volcano in the eastern part of the Andes mountain range. It is the fourth highest volcano in Ecuador. We will observe it from the base since special equipment and permits are needed, and hopefully, the weather is favourable to see the volcano.
- Visit the Guango Lodge, an ideal place to observe dozens of hummingbirds, atleast a variety of twelve different types of this species.
- End your day at Termas Papallacta, its pools of thermal waters. Its warm waters at an average temperature of 45 degrees Celsius will help you relax your body.
