Chinchero & Maras Moray Tour
- At 8:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel and begin the adventure to Chinchero.
- Upon arrival in Chinchero at 3780 m.a.s.l., we will visit its traditional market and learn about its culture and handicrafts.
- Then we will go to the circular terraces of Maras Moray, and we will make a colourful tour, passing through very typical villages and beautiful landscapes that we can enjoy. Moray is a set of huge concentric terraces that overlap concentrically in a giant hole. These beautiful terraces served in Inca times as an agricultural laboratory "Greenhouse Prototype".
- Finally, we will visit the salt mines, located northwest of the village of Maras, which consist of about 2000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², used since Inca times, colonial times and are still used by the locals.
- After our visit, we will return to the city of Cusco.
