Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cusco - Socma - Rayan - Puccaqasa

   • Start at 5:00 am by getting picked up from your hotel and then moving to the community of Socma, where we will wait for a delicious breakfast, and then continue our journey towards the Perolniyoc Waterfall. 
   • After about 40 more minutes, we can reach the archaeological center of Rayanpata, where we will have a short rest.
   • Continuing the journey, we will go to Rayan, where a delicious lunch awaits us at 3700 meters above sea level.
   • After a rest, we will leave for Puccaqasa, which is located at 4400 meters above sea level (14,436 ft). At the top, we will have a spectacular 360° view of the entire valley surrounded by mountains and snow-capped peaks. 
   • In about 30 minutes, we will continue to our camp to have dinner and enjoy a sunset and a night full of stars.

2. Day 2: Puccaqasa - Quychicassa - Inti Punku - Verónica View Hotel.

   • After breakfast, we will walk towards the top of the Quychicassa pass located at 4450 masl (14599 ft). 
   • Continuing the trek, we will descend towards the Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol), which shows us an impressive view of the Valley. From here we will be able to appreciate Veronica Mountain.
   • Then, we will continue down a steep descent until we reach Verónica View, where lunch awaits us and we can enjoy the Hotel facilities.

3. Day 3: Hotel Verónica View - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

   • On day 3, we will have a relaxing morning to enjoy the hotel stay, and at noon we will have a delicious lunch. 
   • After a relaxing day, we are moving to the train station to travel to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
   • In Machu Picchu we will transfer to the hotel, then we will have dinner with a beautiful view.

4. Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu – Cusco

   • After breakfast, we will board the bus that will take us to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, in a 40 minute journey along a Zigzaguante road.
   • At the control gate, together with our guide, we will enter the archaeological park where we begin our journey ascending to the highest part of Machu Picchu “La Casa del Guardian”. From here we can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire citadel. 
   • Next, we will visit the agricultural, urban and religious part of Machu Picchu and the most important points such as the 3 windows, Intihuatana, the Tower, and the Inca Cemetery.
   • After our 3-hour tour of the Inca citadel, we will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo on the bus. Here we will have time to do some free activities. 
   • Before the train’s departure 30 minutes, we will appear at the station to travel back to Ollantaytambo, where our mobility awaits you to transfer you to the hotel in Cusco.
