Day in the streets of Beijing
- Meet your guide in the hotel at 5:30 p.m, travel by metro to Zhushikou.
- The first stop is Qianmen and Dashila'er Street, where the local scenes, historical sites, cultural relics and many architectures with Chinese and western styles are preserved.
- Visit former Qianmen Railway Station and China Bank of Communication, full of classical European architectural style. But interestingly, Quan Ju De and Yue Sheng Zhai still keep their primitive and simple Chinese style alive.
- From Dashila'er Street, walk to National Opera House and Tian'anmen Square.
- The next stop will be Wangfujing street. It is a famous street located near the Haoyou Shijie Plaza. The street has hundreds of vendors who serve up favourite snacks and peddle handicrafts and other souvenirs.
- End the tour with a visit to Wangfujing church, one of the best-preserved religious sites and the second oldest Catholic Church in Beijing. Its grey Gothic structure has endured a torrid history.
