Itinerary

1. Day 1 : Airport - Shtip - Kuklice - Kokino (Staro Nagorichane) - Skopje

   • Meet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to Macedonia.
   • Have lunch in Shtip to have traditional Shtipska pastrmajlija. Drive to Kuklice to see the natural shaped Stone Dolls. 
   • Drive to Kokino, a Natural Megalithic observatory and a sanctuary, ranked as 4th in the world by NASA. 
   • Transfer to hotel in Skopje and check-in. Have dinner in a local restaurant (traditional Macedonian food). 
   • Return to hotel and overnight.

2. Day 2: Sightseeing in Skopje

   • After breakfast, drive to Mount Vodno and visit the 12th-century monastery of St. Pantelejmon. 
   • Next, you will visit Canyon Matka (about 15 km from Skopje). Walking along the canyon and a boat trip to Vrelo, one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe and the world.
   • Return to Skopje for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, go for a walking tour in Skopje. 
   • Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight.

3. Day 3: Skopje - Tetovo - Mavrovo - Struga - Ohrid

   • After breakfast, visit the 15th-century colourful mosque in Tetovo and then drive to Mavrovo lake through the National park Mavrovo.
   • Have lunch at a local restaurant in Galicnik and visit the monastery of St. John Bigorski, an 11th-century monastery.
   • Drive to Ohrid and check in at the hotel.
   • Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight.

4. Day 4: St. Naum - Ohrid

   • After breakfast, drive to St. Naum to visit the St. Naum monastery. 
   • Take a short boat trip to the springs of the Black Drim river, and see the place where the river flows into the Ohrid lake. 
   • Next, have lunch at St. Naum in a local restaurant and then return to Ohrid for a sightseeing tour through the city.
   • Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight.

5. Day 5: Ohrid - Struga - Vevchani - Ohrid

   • After breakfast, drive to Struga and go for a short walk in the city to see a natural phenomenon where the river Black Drim exits the Ohrid lake. 
   • Next, drive to Vevchani village to visit the beautiful Vevchani springs. Have lunch in Kutmichevica, a local restaurant with homemade traditional food. 
   • Return to Ohrid and board a one-hour cruise on the lake with catamaran boat. 
   • You can enjoy some free time in Ohrid. Then, have dinner in a local restaurant. 
   • Return to the hotel for overnight.

6. Day 6: Ohrid - Bitola

   • After breakfast drive to Bitola, the second-largest city in Macedonia. 
   • Visit the Jewish cemetery and then, drive to Heraklea, the ancient city founded by Phillip II of Macedon. 
   • Have lunch in a local restaurant and check in at the hotel. 
   • Walk through the city and have free time to enjoy the spirit of Bitola. 
   • Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight.

7. Day 7: Bitola - Stobi - Airport

   • After breakfast drive to Stobi, one of many Macedonian wineries. 
   • Walk through the winery to see the process of making wine. Have lunch with wine-tasting in the winery. 
   • After lunch, transfer to Thessaloniki airport for departure.
