Tour to Abu Simbel Temples
- Meet with the tour guide at your hotel in Aswan and take a 3-hour drive to Abu Simbel. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their amazing unique style, are considered the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate to save these temples from the flood caused by the dam.
- Visit the Temple of Ramsses II, also known as the Sun Temple, dedicated to the four major gods- Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramsses II himself.
- Check out the temple of Queen Nefertari, also called the Temple of Hathor, who was the wife of the goddess of motherhood.
