Description
Go on a 2-day tour to the famous towns and cities of Sri Lanka from Colombo. Visit the Munneswaram Temple in Chilaw, the salt factory in Puttalam and sightsee in Anuradhapura. Also, go for a wildlife safari at Minneriya National Park to spot the famous Sri Lankan elephants along with other wild animals. Itinerary

Day 1: Colombo- Chilaw- Puttalam- Anuradhapura- Minneriya National Park
- Arrive at Colombo airport, meet with the tour guide and proceed to Chilaw.
- Visit the Munneswaram Temple in Chilaw, then proceed to Puttalam.
- Travel to the salt factory in Puttalam, then drive to Anuradhapura.
- Go sightseeing in the ancient city of Anuradhapura.
- Travel to Minneriya National Park and go for a wildlife safari.
- Spot many wild animals like elephants, purple-faced langur, toque macaque, Sri Lankan sambar deer, Saltwater crocodile, Indian python and Asian water monitor.
- Drive to a lodge in the National park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Minneriya National Park- Polonnaruwa
- Have breakfast at Minneriya National Park, then proceed to Polonnaruwa.
- Go for a city tour at Polonnaruwa and visit the ruins and temples.
- Check out the Buddha statues, unique stupas and many ancient temples, which are still in good condition.
- Visit Vatadage, Gal Vihara, Audience Hall en Rankot Vihara.
- Drive to Colombo for your flight back home.
