Trek to Jebel Akhdar and Jebel Shams
- Arrive in Muscat, meet your tour guide, and proceed to Jebel Akhdar.
- Stop at Birkat Al Mouz, one of the most famous ruined villages in Oman.
- Visit the large banana plantation and enjoy the scenic surroundings of the site, which is also home to the old Falaj irrigation system listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Begin your trek and climb Jebel Akhdar, which rises to 2,600 meters above sea level.
- See fruit plantations on the terraces, including pomegranates and roses, and enjoy the beautiful views. This trek takes around 2 hours.
- Then continue to Jebel Shams, one of the highest mountains in Oman, known as the Mountain of the Sun. The height of this mountain is around 3,020 meters above sea level, and from here you can see the Grand Canyon. This trek takes about 3 hours.
- After the trek, drive back to Muscat and stop at Wadi Ghul to admire the beautiful scenery of the old village, filled with stone houses that are around 300 years old.
- Arrive in Muscat and depart for your hotel.
