Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kuusamo- Posio

   • Meet with your tour guide at Adventure Apes Lodge in Kuusamo at 9.00 am (or spend the previous night at the lodge).
   • Pack your rucksack with the help of your guide.
   • Enjoy lunch at Adventure Apes Lodge.
   • Get transferred to the starting point of the hike.
   • Start your hike and learn interesting facts about the indigenous plants and animals.
   • Arrive at your campsite in the late afternoon, set up your camp and cook your dinner with a gas cooker or by an open fire.
   • Enjoy the sunset and go swimming in the lake. 
   • Spend the night in a twin sharing tent with your friend.

   Total hiking distance on day 1: 5 km.

2. Day 2: Posio

   • Cook your camp breakfast with the help of your guide, then continue with the hike.
   • Have lunch and take a swimming break along the hike. 
   • Arrive at your next campsite in the late afternoon, set up your camp and cook your dinner with a gas cooker or by an open fire.
   • Enjoy the sunset and go swimming in the lake.
   • Spend the night in a twin sharing tent with your friend.

   Total hiking distance on day 2: 5.5 km.

3. Day 3: Posio

   • Cook your camp breakfast with the help of your guide, then begin your hike.
   • Halt for lunch along the way.
   • Cross the lake with a rowing boat.  
   • Return to the starting point by 14.00. 
   • Transfer back to Adventure Apes Lodge 

   Total hiking distance on day 3: 5.5 km.
