Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Get received from the Kilimanjaro International Airport by your tour guide. Drive to Arusha for breakfast.
   • After breakfast, start your 3-hour journey towards the Tarangire National Park.
   • After entering Tarangire National Park, embark on afternoon and evening game drives. You can spot large herds of elephants here, along with baobab trees. Zebras and many wildebeests also migrate to the park during dry seasons. Enjoy the glorious landscapes here with baobab and acacia trees, woodlands and seasonal swamps. 
   • Have dinner and stay the night at Tarangire safari lodge.

2. Day 2 - Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, leave Tarangire National Park at around 7:30 am and drive for 7 hours towards Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch boxes. 
   • Stop at the Masai village, where you can enjoy Masai cultural ventures. 
   • Continue with the drive and enjoy an en-route game drive where you can see kinds of species as you go and descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains. Arrive and check in at the camp. 
   • Have dinner and stay the night at either of the following locations - Seronera wildlife lodge/Serengeti Sopa lodge/Serengeti Serena lodge.

3. Day 3 - Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, depart from your lodge with a packed lunch. 
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive at Serengeti National Park, where you can see predators in action with elephants, leopards, impala, zebra and several different birds species. 
   • After a delicious lunch, proceed for afternoon and evening game drives. 
   • Have dinner and stay the night at Seronera wildlife lodge/Serengeti Sopa lodge.

4. Day 4 - Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

   • Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Go for an early morning game drive inside Serengeti. 
   • Then, return for lunch at the camp. After lunch, start driving towards the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is 3 hours away from Serengeti. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera globally, with the highest density of big game in Africa.
   • Upon arrival, have dinner and stay the night at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge/Ngorongoro Sopa lodge.

5. Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara

   • After breakfast, take your leave from the lodge with your lunch boxes and start descending into the crater for your game drive. 
   • You can expect to see groups of lions, massive elephants, wildebeests, zebras, rhino and many more animals. You can also enjoy the views of Lake Magadi, at the centre of the crater, with a high concentration of flamingos surrounding it.
   • During the evening, drive to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, have dinner and stay at Lake Manyara hotel/ Lake Manyara Serena lodge.

6. Day 6 - Lake Manyara to Arusha

   • After breakfast, start for a game drive with your packed lunch boxes. Spot the famous tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, gazelles and several bird species, including flamingos. Explore the diverse habitats here, the rift valley, dense woodlands and soda lake.
   • Visit the hot spring, Maji Moto, located on the west shores of Lake Manyara. 
   • After lunch, leave Ngorongoro crater and drive towards Arusha for your hotel/airport departure.
