Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
- You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 am. Drive for 2 hours towards Tarangire National Park, the third-largest national park in Tanzania.
- Upon arrival, go for a full day game drive. Spot wild animals like lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, jackals, caracal, cheetahs, and honey bustard
- You can stop at some shops to pick some personal things required during the 7-day safari.
- Stay the night at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti
- After breakfast, leave Tarangire National Park and drive towards Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an on transit game drive.
- You can pass through the Olduvai Gorge, an early human being excavated centre where the first human skull was discovered, as per your choice. If not interested, you can proceed towards the park while you stop several times on the way for wildlife viewing.
- Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon at Serengeti National Park and stay the night at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Northern Serengeti
- After breakfast, start with a full day game drive heading towards the Northern Serengeti to spot migrating wildlife such as wildebeests and zebras and other large predators. Spot the Big 5 here - lion, leopard, buffalo, African elephant and rhinoceros.
- You can also do a balloon safari at the park on request.
- Stay the night at Serengeti Acacia Tented Luxury Lodge in Northern Serengeti. This morning you can do a Balloon safari for the extra money and request.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti
- Go for another full-day game drive inside the Serengeti National Park and search for migrating animals you did not cover earlier.
- Stay the night at Serengeti acacia luxury tented camp or Mara under canvas tented luxury camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
- Do a morning game drive till lunchtime, then leave Serengeti and drive for 4-5 hours towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area while you do game drives on the way. Ngorongoro Crater is the 8th Wonders of the World in Africa and an animal paradise where you will see different species indigenous to East Africa inside the crater. It is home to more than 25,000 large animals and the largest density of lions.
- You can go for the Masai Village excursion as an optional activity.
- Stay the night at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
- Go for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater and stay the night at Karatu Simba Lodge which is outside the gate of Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.

Day 7 Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
- Drive towards Lake Manyara, a small national park where you can spot thousands of flamingos and around 380 bird species. Go for a game drive as soon as you reach there till lunchtime.
- Then, visit the market area in Mto wa Mbu and start your journey back towards Arusha. You can stay the night at your hotel in Arusha or drive straight to the airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar or home.
- You can also take a 2-hour flight from Lake Manyara to Arusha or a 3-hour flight to Kilimanjaro airport.
