Description
This 6-day program is an ideal extension for clients who depart from Nairobi‘s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and do not intend to do a Zanzibar beach extension. Enjoy game viewing in some of the most popular reserves: Masai Mara Game Reserve, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. During game drives, spot the African Big 5 and many other rare animals and birds.
Itinerary

Day 1- Nairobi to Masai Mara
- Get picked up from the hotel/airport in Nairobi and after a safari briefing, depart to Nairobi latest by 8:00 am driving through the floor of the Great Rift Valley and past the base town of Narok to arrive at Masai Mara.
- Enjoy an evening game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Explorer Backpackers Camp (en-suite tent wing)/Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Leisure Camp

Day 2- Masai Mara
- After breakfast, have time to enjoy a full day safari in Masai Mara with a morning and evening game drive.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight will be at a similar property or Mara leisure camp.

Day 3- Masai Mara to Serengeti
- Depart Masai Mara after an early breakfast.
- With packed lunch boxes, drive to the Kenya/Tanzania border of Isebania.
- After clearing the immigration formalities, change vehicles and proceed to Serengeti, arriving with an introductory game drive to the camp or lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Kijereshi Camp (bungalow room category)/Grumeti Migration Camp.

Day 4- Serengeti
- After breakfast, enjoy a full day in Serengeti with a morning and evening game drive.
Lunch, dinner and overnight at Kijereshi Camp (bungalow room category)/Grumeti Migration Camp.
Optional extra activities inside the park are available such as a night game drive or balloon safari.

Day 5- Serengeti to Ngorongoro
- Depart Serengeti after breakfast and with a lunch box via Ol Duvai Gorge Museum.
- Proceed to arrive at Ngorongoro for a half-day Crater tour.
- If you are here early, you can walk around the lodge and enjoy the environment.
Dinner and overnight at Tloma Lodge/Karatu Simba Lodge/Eileen's trees Inn.

Day 6- Ngorongoro to Arusha
- Depart from Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive back to Arusha.
- Arrive in the late morning hours and get dropped off at an Arusha city hotel or Arusha Airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro Airport.
- If you have time (as you may not be flying this day), you may add extra activities.
