Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

   • Pick up from the Bole International Airport by the tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
   • Check-in at the hotel in Addis Ababa and freshen up.
   • Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel.

   Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Addis Ababa- Arba Minch

   • Pick up from the hotel in Addis Ababa and explore the city.
   • Walk through its narrow, cobbled streets and interact with the locals to learn about its history and culture.
   • Check out the hotel and travel to Arba Minch via Wolayta Sodo. 
   • Arrive at the hotel in Arba Minch and check-in.

3. Day 3: Arba Minch-Chencha-Arba Minch

   • Pick up from the hotel in Arba Minch and travel to Chencha, a town in southern Ethiopia, located in the Gamo Gofa Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region, 37 kilometres north of Arba Minch.
   • Visit the Dorze villages and discover local handicrafts, including the works of weavers for which they are extremely famous.
   • See different plantations such as Sorgun, banana and more. 
   • Enjoy a boat ride on Chamo Lake and look for hippos and crocodiles.

4. Day 4: Arba Minch-Jinka

   • Pick up from the hotel in Arba Minch and travel to Jinka, a market town in southern Ethiopia, located in the hills north of the Tama Plains.
   • Pass through the villages of the Benna and Tsemay people on the way.
   • Check-in at the hotel in Jinka and freshen up. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel.

5. Day 5: Jinka-Mago Park-Jinka

   • Pick up from the hotel in Jinka and drive to Mago Park.
   • Visit the Mursi tribal people and explore the local villages. 
   • See the local women, who insert clay disks into their lips for beauty and the local men with different scarification based on the number of enemies or wild animals they killed in battles.

6. Day 6: Jinka-Turmi

   • Pick up from the hotel in Jinka and travel to Turmi, the region of the Hammer tribe, known for their unique hairstyles, cultural traits and ornamental traditions.
   • Visit some fascinating villages and see the local folk dance show.

7. Day 7: Turmi-Kochi-Turmi

   • Pick up from the hotel in Turmi and travel to the beautiful village of Kochi by crossing the Omo River.
   • Interact with the Karo tribesmen, famous for their extravagant hairstyle, different ornaments and body painting in men.

8. Day 8: Turmi - Konso

   • Pick up from the hotel in Turmi and drive to Konso, a town on the Sagan River in southwestern Ethiopia. 
   • Visit two Konso villages, interact with the locals and observe their unique culture.

9. Day 9: Konso -Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary-Konso

   • Pick up from the hotel in Konso and drive to Yabelo Wildlife Sanctuary.
   • Look for lions, zebras, elephants, leopards, hyenas and various bird species in the national park.

10. Day 10: Konso-Borena-Yabelo

    • Pick up from the hotel in Konso and travel to Yabelo.
    • Visit the Borena villages on the way and interact with different tribal people.
    • Check-in at the hotel in Yabelo and freshen up.
    • Explore the Yabelo Market and buy souvenirs.

11. Day 11:Yabelo-Awassa

    • Pick up from the hotel in Yabelo and drive to Awassa via Dilla.
    • Check-in at the Yigalem Eco lodge in Awassa.

12. Day 12: Awassa-Langano

    • Pick up from the hotel in Awassa and drive to a local fish market by Awasa Lake.
    • Travel to Langano and check-in at the hotel.

13. Day 13: Langano-Abijata Park-Addis Ababa

    • Pick up from the hotel in Langano and travel to Abijata Park.
    • Look for flamingoes, gazels, war tag birds at the park.
    • Have lunch at a local restaurant and drive back to Addis Ababa.

14. Day 14: Depart From Addis Ababa
