Description
Go on a 4-day tour to Gombe National Park and see the chimpanzee families that live protected in the park’s boundaries. Take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Spot many other species of primates living in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, such as Val vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik-dik which inhabits the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife.
Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kigoma
- Pick up from Kigoma Airstrip and transfer to the hotel at the lake shore for the night.
Preferred Kigoma Hilltop Lodge

Day 2 : Boat ride to Gombe
- After breakfast, transfer to Gombe stream National Park by boat.
- Go on a chimpanzee tracking through the park.
- Late afternoon, check-in at the lodge in the park.
Preferred Gombe Forest Lodge.

Day 3 : Full Day Chimpanzee Tracking
- Enjoy a full-day Chimpanzee tracking, an armed ranger accompanies the group through the park.
- Climb to Kakombe waterfalls.
- Return to the lodge for the night.

Day 4 : Departure
- Transfer to Kigoma for a flight back to Arusha/Dar es Salaam.
