Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Meru National Park

   • Pick up from the hotel after breakfast, or from the airport.
   • Depart for Meru national park, Murera Gate; This semi-arid park is famous for its former home of Joy and George Adamson and Elsa the lioness, views of Mt. Kenya, Rivers and riverine habitats, Tana river, Adamson falls, Grevy’s Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo, different species of birds. 
   • Drive direct to Elsa’s Kopje Lodge. 
   • Enjoy lunch and relax at the lodge. 
   • Take an afternoon game drive between 4 pm to 6 pm.
   •  Come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.             

2. Day 2: Full-day at Meru National Park

   • After breakfast, take an early morning extended game drive.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch, and explore the many rivers transecting the park.

3. Day 3: Meru National Park to Samburu National Park

   • Take an early Morning last game drive in this park to see the sunrise and another Number of wild animals. 
   • Return to the camp for full breakfast followed by check out. 
   • Enjoy the early buffet breakfast, then have a morning game drive. 
   • Leave Meru National Park for Samburu National Park. 
   • Arrive at Samburu National Reserve and check-in at the Lodge.
   • Head for an afternoon game drive. 
   • Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Full-day at Samburu National Park

   • Have breakfast at the lodge, and the guide will arrange for the picnic lunches, by 0800am. 
   • Leave for a full-day game viewing.
   • Search for the unique species of animals that inhabit this same reserve such as the gravy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Necked Generuk, and Beisa onyx. 
   • Take a break for the Picnic lunch in the reserve and continue up to 1700hrs. 
   • Leave the park for an optional activity with the local community, either visit the Village or go for a camel ride.

5. Day 5: Samburu National Park to Sweetwater’s

   • After breakfast, leave Samburu and drive to Sweetwater.
   • Arrive in time for lunch. 
   • Enjoy an afternoon game drive with a visit to the Ol Pejeta Chimpanzee Sanctuary. 

    Dinner and Overnight at the camp.

6. Day 6: Full-day at Sweetwater’s

   • Spend the full day until 1500hrs exploring Sweetwater’s; it is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya. 
   • Return to the camp to refresh and relax.
   • At 1830hrs, take a night game drive which starts at 1900hrs up to 2100hrs. 

    It can get cold on night game drives, so we recommend extra layers for comfort. Clothing should be neutral in color.

7. Day 7: Sweetwater’s to Lake Naivasha

   • Leave Sweetwater’s and depart to Lake Naivasha via Thompson’s falls.
   •  Stop-over and have lunch. 
   • Explore the enchanting waterfalls that attract colorful birds and provide good photographic opportunities. 
   • Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for an optional boat ride in the evening.

8. Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

   • After breakfast, depart to Masai Mara National Reserve.
   • Arrive on time for lunch at the camp/lodge.
   • Depart for an afternoon game drive. 

   Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

9. Day 9: Full-day at Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Have a relaxed breakfast or depart for a full-day game drive around 0800hrs.
   • Return back to lodge by late afternoon around 1800hrs. 
   • Depart at 0600hrs, on an early morning game drive
   • Head back to the accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit.
   • Enjoy an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. 
   • Stop at a picnic spot for having a packed lunch.
   • Depart on a game drive till the park is closed. 
   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

10. Day 10: Return to Nairobi

    • Enjoy a short morning game drive.
    • Check-out of the camp and drive to Nairobi. 
    • Drop-off at the Airport/Nairobi hotel in time.
