Birdwatching in the Zambezi National Park
- Set out on a birdwatching excursion in the early hours of the morning at the Zambezi National Park.
- See the endemic bird species such as the Schalow's Turaco, the Collared Palm Thrush, the Ashly Fly Catcher, the Trumpeter Horn Bill, and the Bat Hawk. As the African sunrise lights up the Zambezi river, we will hear the songs of these birds and the adjoining area come to life.
- See the Victoria Falls' spray glitter as you learn how to track birds from your Zimbabwe tour guide. See the African Fin Foot floating down the river.
- A stop for breakfast will be made where you'll have food bush-cooked by your Zimbabwe tour guide. See the Giant King Fisher or the beautiful malachite King Fisher sitting on a straw of reed along the river.
- After the breakfast, chase high-flyers like the Tawny Eagle, Western Banded Snake eagle, Martial Eagle and several species of vultures, who would all be in the sky by this time.
