Itinerary

1. Day 1: Mumbai - Ratnagiri

   • Upon your arrival at Mumbai airport or railway station, you will be picked up and transferred to the Harnai Reach hotel and resort in Ratnagiri. 
   • In the evening, we will visit:
     • Jaigad Fort: a fortification present at a tip of the peninsula in Ratnagiri; the fort offers splendid views of the Arabian Sea. 
     • Ratnadurg Fort: also known as the Bhagawati fort, this landmark is of great importance to India historically. It is also home to the Bhagawati Temple. 

   Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

2. Day 2: Ratnagiri

   • After breakfast, set out to visit the beaches of Ratnagiri: 
     • The Ganapatipule Beach is clean with fine, silvery-white sand. The beach is not safe for swimming because it contains stretches of rocks and a  lagoon. The more adventurous tourists could try their hand at balancing a kayak here.
     • Also on the Ganapatipule beach, the idol of Ganapati at the Swayambhu Ganpati Temple is built of 'pule' which is nothing but white sand and is believed to have originated naturally, without the aid of man.  Another idol of Ganapati which is made of copper is placed in the Sanctum Sanctorum. It depicts the Lord astride on a lion.
     • A booming hot spot of tourists, Mandavi Beach is the most crowded, prettiest beach in the Ratnagiri region. It is gifted with a vast shoreline right up to Rajiwanda Port. This fabulous beach is surrounded on the west by the Ratnadurg fort and the east by the majestic Arabian.

3. Day 3: Ratnagiri - Mumbai

   • There will be no sightseeing on this day. After breakfast, leave Ratnagiri to be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport in Mumbai.
