Itinerary

Day 1: Mumbai - Nashik
- Meet your Mumbai tour guide on arrival at the Mumbai airport or railway station. From there, we proceed to Nashik where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
- You will have the option to spend the evening at leisure or to visit the Sundar Narayan Temple and Sita Gupta Caves, the site where Lord Rama and Goddess Sita worshipped God Shiva in their years of exile.

Day 2: Nashik
- Early in the morning, we will visit the famous Trimbakeshwar Temple and the source of the Godavari River. Trimbakeshwar is the main jyotirlinga out of 12 jyotirlingas devoted to Lord Shiva. According to the legend, Guatama Rishi executed a precise ritual of prayer and Tapasya or penance to Shiva on Brahmagiri Hill, which rises above the current temple. It is believed that after being pleased with his dedication, Lord Shiva has blessed him and brought down the sacred rivers of Ganga, Godavari and Gautami to earth from heaven. Before entering this holy temple, devotees bathe and purify themselves from all sins at the Kushavarta Teertha.

Day 3: Nashik - Mumbai
- There will be no sightseeing on this day. After breakfast at Nashik, we will head back to your accommodation or the airport at Mumbai.
