Itinerary

1. Day 1: Mumbai - Lonavala

   • After a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Mumbai, set out for the 3-hour drive to Lonavala. On reaching Lonavala, you will be dropped off at your accommodation and will visit the following sites:
     • Lion's Point: this is a viewpoint midway between Bhushi Dam and Aamby Valley which overlooks a deep valley and mountains; it is known for its roasted corn and delicious onion fritters.
     • Lonavala Lake: situated 1.6 km from the town, this lake is surrounded by many scenic beauties and attracts numerous tourists. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch would be made at this point.
     • Duke’s Nose point: Duke's nose is about 12 km from Lonavala, this cliff owes its name to the Duke of Wellington whose ample nose it resembles.
     • Kune Falls: Located in the lush green Lonavala district of Maharastra, Kune falls is the 14th highest waterfall in India.
     • Bushi Dam: This masonry dam is located in the Indrayani River, it was built in the late 1960s by Great Indian Peninsular Railways.

   In the evening, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. 

2. Day 2: Lonavala - Matheran - Mumbai

   • On the second day, depart from Lonavala hotel in the morning and proceed towards Dasturi Car Park, Matheran.
   • Upon arrival, you will begin your Matheran sightseeing adventure that'll take you to some of the popular haunts of this snug hill station. See the city from the eyes of a local and delve into the serene atmosphere of the place. You will then head back to Mumbai and be dropped off at your accommodation within the city limits.
