Description
This full-day adventure will introduce you to Ssezibwa Falls, Mabira Forest and the Source of the Nile. Jinja Town is found in the eastern part of Uganda and is about 82 Km by road to the East of Kampala. It is blessed with the longest river in the world. Thus the Nile River is the highlight of this adventure. Located on the shores of Lake Victoria, Jinja City is the vast cosmopolitan place in the Busoga region and the capital of the kingdom of Busoga.
Itinerary

See the source of the Nile
- Pick up by the tour guide early in the morning—transfer by Road heading East to Jinja.
- Get to Sseizibwa Falls to enjoy its amazing views and sounds. Get to know the History of Buganda’s Culture as the Guide explains the History of these Falls.
- Transfer to Mabira Forest. Enjoy a nature walk and learn about different tree species as we look out for birdlife and a few primates in this Forest.
- Proceed through this forest and sugarcane plantations of Lugazi and finally arrive at jinja city on time for lunch.
- After Lunch, drive to the Nile source, which is a quiet, beautiful place, filled with palm trees, fantastic tropical plants, and as you walk down the steps toward the Nile, you can enjoy the smell of flowers there. While standing on the Nile, you will hear the gurgling water, watch native fishers throw their nets in the longest river in Africa- the Nile.
- Take a boat ride to the actual source of the Nile and beyond the lake to the Reptile Village, where you will get to see different species of Reptiles and take great pictures for future memories.
- In the evening, drive back to Kampala, dropping you off to your Hotel.
