Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Pick up at 0730hrs, then depart for Lake Nakuru, a 3-hour drive to the main gate Nakuru from Nairobi. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley scenery viewing escarpment en-route. You will arrive with a game drive proceeding to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. 
   • Later, afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake, which is often referred so due to its great masses of flamingos, to view a variety of wildlife: not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. 

   Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

2. Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National reserve

   • Depart from Lake Nakuru National park after breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara national reserve, arrive in time and check-in for lunch.
   • Short rest in the camp; at 1530hrs, depart for an afternoon game drive around then park in search of the famous big cats. At 1830hrs, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 and also a possibility of seeing the annual wildebeest migration that takes place from July to October. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of $450 per person. Masai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe, over 450 species of animal have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place that is wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight stay at the tented camp.

4. Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

   • Early morning game drives until 0930 hrs Kenya time; return to the camp for full breakfast. Check out of the camp and depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon. According to your schedule, we may drop you at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel.
