Day tour of Gutape
- In the morning, depart from Medellín for Guatapé. Choose among the guide's car, a bus, or a rented vehicle for transport.
- On reaching Guatapé, visit the La Piedra del Peñol, also known as the 'Rock of Gutape', a 200-metre high graphite monolith in the city. You could climb this structure using the several hundred steps that take one to the top, from where splendid views of the region stretch out before one's eyes.
- Then, proceed with your guide to have a snack or coffee at the town's plaza.
- Proceed for a walk by the piers, a beautiful sight and a relaxing experience, any time of the day.
- Take a boat ride in the waters of Pueblo de Zócalos before having lunch.
