Itinerary
-
Enjoy a fun fishing trip
- Leave the hotel and head towards the east. The road to this picturesque fishing village is an attraction in itself, as it crosses glacial valleys with snowy peaks, rivers, lagoons and peat bogs. Puerto Almanza is a small fishing village 1h30 away from Ushuaia on the coast of Beagle Channel. Just twenty families live there. Fishing king crab is the main activity of people.
- Arrive at Diana and her husband's home, local fishermen, who will guide us in this unique experience. The experience starts with the fishing guides; we will prepare ourselves to go out on navigation in a rigid inflatable boat. We experience the excitement of raising the nets and finally fishing for our lunch.
- After 20 minutes on Beagle Channel, we'll be back in the village to taste a variety of seafood dishes, king crab included! After this delicious lunch, a moment of relaxing watching landscapes will give us a real moment of peace.
- Once back in the village we will return to Ushuaia after a unique day at the edge of the world.
