Itinerary

1. Day 1: Bandaranayke Airport to Sigiriya

   • Upon your arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport in Katunayake, you will be met by one of the representatives, and you will be taken to a hotel in Sigiriya. 
   • Relax in the hotel, and you will be ready to start a cycling safari the next morning.

2. Day 2: Hiriwadunna village and Sigiriya Lion Rock

   • Enjoy your savoury breakfast and have an opportunity to begin your first safari in Hiriwadunna village. Ride between 5 - 10 Km around the village, and you will have a chance to explore lush paddy fields, water reserves and meet local village people. 

   • Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock. 

   • Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Polonnaruwa City

   • Pick up from your hotel at Polonnaruwa and start your cycling safari.

   • Visit the old city of Polonnaruwa and explore the ruins and monasteries in the ancient city.

   • Return to the hotel.

4. Day 4: Kalundawa village to Kandy

   • Post breakfast in Sigiriya, check out the hotel and transfer before midday from Sigiriya. 
   • Commence on another incredible cycling safari at Kalundawa village in Dambulla. Grab the opportunity to explore the beauty of the village and drink a King Coconut.

   • Afterwards, visit the Dambulla Cave temple.

   • Transfer to Kandy.

5. Day 5: Explore Kandy city

   • Post breakfast, begin your cycle safari along the Mahaweli River and see its splendour.

   • Make a stop at Bahairawakande temple premises.

   • Return to the hotel for lunch and refresh.

   • In the evening, visit the Temple of Tooth Relic and participate in a ceremony in the temple.

   • Explore the night views in Kandy city.

6. Day 6: Kandy to Ella

   • Have breakfast at the hotel's main restaurant and prepare to take the world-famous, beautiful train ride from Kandy to Ella.

   • Depart to Kandy station, and your chauffeur will proceed to the Ella railway station in advance and await your arrival.

   • Proceed to the hotel after arrival.

   • Enjoy a cup of tea and a reminder of the beautiful train ride in Sri Lanka.

7. Day 7: Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridges

   • After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to start another amazing cycle safari from Ella.

   • Visit Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridges.

   • Cross the lush tea plantations and the splendour of waterfalls.

   • Transfer to the hotel.

8. Day 8: Tissamaharama

   • Transfer to Thissamaharama for another exciting cycle safari.

   • Upon arrival at the hotel in Thissamaharama, check in to the hotel and relax for a few hours.

   • Begin your cycle safari time. See magnificent scenery around the village.

   • Transfer to the hotel for your dinner and overnight.

9. Day 9: Yala National Park

   • Wake up early and make your way into the famous Yala National Park for a full day. You will be saved a packet of breakfast and lunch during the safari.

   • Explore droves of elephants, leopards, and sloth bears.

   • Return to the hotel overnight.

10. Day 10: Bentota

    • After breakfast, leave for Bentota.

    • Check in to the hotel, and get ready for an exciting beach cycling safari.

    • Visit the Turtle Hatchery to see turtles.

    • Transfer to the hotel and relax.

11. Day 11: Galle and Negombo

    • Check out from the hotel and visit Galle Dutch Fortress for another incredible safari.

    • Afterwards, continue your journey to Negombo. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Negombo.

12. Day 12: Negombo

    • Have breakfast and start the cycling safari from the hotel. See Negombo fish market and Lagoon.

    • Spend at leisure on the beach or by the pool.

13. Day 13: Departure

    • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
