Itinerary

Iquitos / Nauta / Yarapa River Basin in Iquitos
Start 9:00 am and transfer to the town of Nauta, Marañón River. Observe the confluence of the Ucayali and Marañón rivers and continue to our camp to leave the luggage and have lunch. Take a walk in the afternoon to locate the frogs characterised by their vibrant colours.
Return to base camp for dinner and overnight.

Look for Plants, Wildlife, & Alligators
Continue to observe more wildlife as we head into the jungle. On the way, appreciate the flora such as the capybara, considered the largest rodent on the planet; birds like parakeets, macaws and toucans and perhaps groups of monkeys in balance like "machín" or "choro". Return to the camp after lunch to look for alligators by the river.

Hike through the Jungle
We search some species of the howler monkey before returning for lunch. After lunch, sail downstream to the town of Nauta.
Transfer to Iquitos at 5 pm where our staff will transfer you to the hotel or the airport.
